This site was originally built to help share information on IRC aka Internet Relay Chat, that sometimes forgotten corner of the internet that was incredibly popular in the 1990’s, and still has a niche following today.
I was an avid user of the service back then, and this page became quite popular among IRC enthusiasts, but as times have moved on, most people have shifted their focus to the social media sites of today. Sure, they’re very flashy compared to IRC, but IRC had its own feel – like a comfy chair.
These days, this site is a collection of topical discussions and articles about the newer ways to connect online. If you want to get in touch, then please join the #melvania channel on efnet, or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you have any suggestions, or would like to guest post on my site, then do please get in touch.
